How Mester Grønn CC Vest solved the queue challenge on Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day can be one of the busiest days of the year for a flower shop. For Mester Grønn at CC Vest, the solution was to implement "self-service with Vipps," provided by Fygi – an efficient and seamless way to reduce queues and offer a simpler shopping experience.

Instead of waiting in a traditional checkout line, customers could pick out rose bouquets and chocolates, scan the products with their phones, and pay directly with Vipps. This made it possible to handle the extra high demand without the queues growing too long. At the same time, employees had the freedom to assist customers who needed help or focus on other tasks in the store.

The solution has proven to be easy to use for both customers and staff. With fewer physical payment points to staff, Mester Grønn was able to allocate its resources more effectively on a traditionally hectic day. By allowing customers to pay independently, the pace in the store increased, making it easier for shoppers to grab everything they needed before rushing off.
